Moving your affiliate network to another platform: a checklist that keeps every conversion
What to move, in which order to switch postbacks and how to keep your partners when you change platforms.
Networks switch platforms when per-conversion fees grow, features are missing or support takes days to reply. The move itself is less scary than it looks: done in order, partners barely notice it.
What to move
- partners and their contacts;
- offers, geos and payouts, including individual ones;
- advertiser and partner postbacks;
- conversion history and balances as of the move date.
Order of the move
- 1Export. Export data from the old platform while you still have access.
- 2Import and reconcile. Check that partner and offer counts and payouts match.
- 3Advertiser postbacks. Send each advertiser the new URL and test it with a test conversion.
- 4Partner postbacks. Check delivery and response codes.
- 5Switch traffic. Old links should keep working during the transition so partners do not have to change everything at once.
- 6Reconcile the first week. Compare conversions in the new system with advertiser data.
How to keep partners
Warn them early, give a date and explain what changes for them. A short guide works well: where the new login is, what happens to the balance, whether links change. Balances on the move date must match to the cent; everyone will ask about that first.
Moving to PrimeTrack
We move offers, partners, payouts and postbacks from Scaleo, Affilka or your own tracker: our team does the export and import, we test every postback before launch, and old links keep working during the transition. Turnkey migration is part of the Enterprise plan; see pricing and the platform comparison.
